To be honest, I haven’t watched or read any kind of news recently; anyway yesterday I watched some news on the subway T.V, while I waited for the “metro”. On the notice was announced that the football game between Chile and Germany was canceled, because the German goalkeeper was dead by suicide. The man was about thirty eight years old, and he throws himself to the train lines. The reporters of the notice said that he had been going throw a depression for the past two years caused by the dead of a daughter from about two years old that had a heart malformation.
This occur yesterday in Germany, for how they describe the story it was very shocking for all of his teammates, that’s why the German football federation canceled the game, because the German players declared they couldn’t believe it and that they were very sad.
Even though this is not even close to our country, it’s a very surprising notice, because of the way he died. He was sick, and for two years he couldn’t get recovered from a daughter’s dead, so he may have been going through a lot of bad feelings.
A lot of people are involved. Not in the fact that he got suicide, but they are because of the repercussions of this. His wife, and adopted daughter, his football team, and all the people who knew him.
This affects our country in the way that they canceled the game that was for training, and preparing themselves to the FIFA world cup South Africa 2010.
I would like to hear more news; I don’t care about in which of the formats, about ecologists and naturist stuff and cultural things. Because we always see the same things like politicians, delinquency, just problems, and more problems.
